RADIATION CURING TECHNOLOGY

Radiation curing is the unique technology allowing polymerisation or crosslinking of reactive substrates with low or no evolution of volatile organic compounds (VOC). UV curing in particular is suitable for improve the quality of finished products saving time, energy and space.

UV curing can be used in several application areas such as:

  • Coating: wood, plastic, paper, optical fibres
  • Inks: gravure, flexo, litho, screen, offset
  • Adhesives: pressure-sensitive, laminating
  • Printing plates
  • Photo resists
  • Electronics

Lamberti has been involved in photoinitiators for radiation curing since the 1970s, with the production and introduction on the market of Esacure® KB 1 and Esacure® EB 3. Lamberti has a broad range of photoinitiators for UV radical curing with a complete balance of surface and through cure characteristics. Esacure products has been specially developed to minimise the ecological impact and can be considered as environmentally friendly. Lamberti’s application labs support customer requests, also with development of tailor-made formulations. The R&D unit continues in development of novel photoinitiators to satisfy new industry needs. Lamberti quality is one of the mile stones of its activity: the ISO 9001 certification, obtained in 1992, assure our customers on the quality of R&D, purchasing, manufacturing, marketing, sales, inspection, shipping, delivery and services.
